Purple Cat Creatives Empty Re: Purple Cat Creatives

I had the privilege of sampling some body butter samples from Purple Cat Creatives and I was very very happy with what I received! These are some of the most deliciously scented body butters that I have ever tried and TDawn is just such a lovely individual. I found the formula a little rich for my oily skin but it works like a charm for areas that need some extra TLC. The product packaging is out of this world and would make a wonderful gift for yourself or a loved one. Everything is packed extremely well and very reasonably priced.

Here's a detailed review of the body butter samples that I received.

Definitely try out Purple Cat Creatives if you have the chance to! C:

Purple Cat Creatives Empty Awesome find!

Post by Anileda Mon Oct 06, 2014 3:21 pm

I tried Purple Cat Creatives a little randomly when Haus of Gloi shut down and I ran out of sugar scrub and needed more like yesterday. Thanks to helpful members of the sub, I decided to give PCC a go, and I'm SO GLAD I DID.

TAT was about six days from order to arriving in my mailbox, which was awesome. Everything was packed in the box good and tight, and her packaging itself is lovely. She included a freebie sample of body butter that seems pretty generous.

The best part though is the scents. I can't get over them. I've never liked an indie scent so much that I want to own it in every variation regardless of whether I 'need' more. (Firecracker) I'm already contemplating another order just to make sure I get more, and it just arrived TODAY.

The body butter is exactly what I needed for my poor, poor super dry skin. Moisturizing bliss. The sugar scrub seems to be really fine grain, too, which is also good for my poor, poor sensitive skin. It's so touchy, indie stuff has been the best thing ever for me.

Honestly I can say that PCC blew my expectations out of the water. She'll definitely be hearing from me again.

Did I mention she makes cute little critters too??

I had a very good experience with Purple Cat Creatives. I can't recall if there was a stated TAT (the current page doesn't refer to it), but I think I received my order within 7 business days; it was very reasonable for me. I ordered the six pack of sample body butters. The ones I ordered were mostly winter scents so they're unavailable currently: Temptation, Red Velvet, Gingersnapped, Bubblecake, Marzipan, and Warm and Toasty. All are strongly scented, and they last quite a bit of time on my skin. My favorites were Temptation (graham cracker and cheesecake) and Red Velvet (self-explanatory). Marzipan was OK but dried down to smell just like Warm & Toasty. I wasn't too wowed with Bubblecake or Gingersnapped; although Gingersnapped smells exactly like fresh-baked gingerbread.

The formula for the butters are some of the best I've used. It is fluffy, but it is very moisturizing. You get a lot of bang for your buck. I put in another order for a soap whip and scrub, so I'll return to review those.
