It took three tries before the package finally arrived. They have apparently had problems where the labels fall off the package and/or the package never makes it to the processing stage via USPS. I appreciate the owner mailing it out several times but if I hadn't kept track of it, I'm not sure I would have ever gotten anything. :/ It makes me nervous about ordering from them again.

Then someone has just found mold growing in one of the eyeliners from SMASH. (http://www.undertheinfluenceofbeauty.com/2013/07/avoid-smash-cosmetics-like-plague.html) I haven't gotten around to trying my eyeshadows from the company and after reading this, I'm not sure that I want to. The owner says that she will be redoing the seals on her sample jars but....I'm wary..

I found mold in my sample size of Hazen lipstick from Smash Cosmetics.

I've had mixed experiences with Smash. On one hand, I ordered samples and was pretty happy with them. Then I made another order, and found her lipstick was basically a crayon. She said she'd send me another one, since I had made another order that had yet to ship, so I waited for the next order. Not only did she not include the lipstick, she also "forgot" two of the samples I ordered, and the eyeshadows didn't match up to the swatches in the shop, or even the swatches I had made of the same colour with the samples. Of course, this is after I waited long enough that the dispute period had ended. I mailed her to see what happened, and it took a week for her to respond. While I'm still trying to resolve it, I don't want to support her any more.

I made a http://allaboutbobbie.wordpress.com/2013/10/10/indie-post-the-return-of-smash-cosmetics/ about it.
