Alamo Candelaria Empty Re: Alamo Candelaria

Alamo Candelaria has multiple offerings: wax "crack" (breakable pieces of scented wax for tart warmers), la crema (body lotion), perfume oil, soap, and more. The site is updated every 1-2 weeks. Sometimes there are limited listings of body scrubs, cuticle butter, and the like. Some product scents are stock oils; some are blends. It depends on the owner's creative mood.

The turnaround time is not clearly stated; but some listings (such as la crema) read one to two weeks.

I have purchased from AC twice. My first order was a small one: one la crema in pink frosted cupcake and one perfume oil in tres leches cake (no longer available). I received a refund for overage on shipping. My second purchase was 4 la cremas (or should I say las cremas?) and two wax cracks. The scents for the body creams were raspberry boom boom, courtesan, Y'sabeau, and iced lemon cookies; the wax cracks were raspberry boom boom and praline cookie. I did place two separate orders within hours of each other as I forgot to add to my cart; however, the owner combined the two and refunded shipping again. I received both of my purchases within five days, including the weekend. I was very pleased.

The orders come with at least two samples, usually a sample soap bar and a salt lique lolli. I'm not usually interested in soap bars because the scents tend to disappear within a few uses; however, the one sample I have tried so far in lavender and coconut milk lasted until the full use of the bar. The lollies are delicious and I can see myself buying some as favors or to give as part of a gift.

La crema is a bit creamier than a standard body lotion. The scents carry a light scent that lasts on my skin for a good couple of hours, even after handwashing. They don't smell like plastic or overly artificial. I'm not very good as describing scents, but everything I ordered smelled like their descriptions (listed here: http://alamocandelaria.bigcartel.com/fragrances). The scent list is not always up to date; but the individual listings featuring that scent do suffice.

I strongly recommend this brand, and I will definitely purchase from them again.

disclaimer: My opinion is my own; I purchased everything with my money. I'm just a big fan and want to spread the word!
