Re: Notoriously Morbid
I love this company - the quality and the colors of her shadows are fantastic. Customer service is great too - I've ordered three times so far and packages are always shipped within a week. I think the prices are great and Carrie (the owner) is such a sweetie, my orders always have handwritten notes and extra goodies in them. I definitely feel good about recommending her products, you won't be disappointed!

Order came at the lower end of TAT. Overall good experience but descriptions seem to be significantly off for some of her eyeshadows. Full review/swatches here

Re: Notoriously Morbid
Notoriously Morbid has become my favorite indie company of all time. Not only are the eyeshadows top-notch (super pigmented, silky, soft), the owner is an amazing woman. On one of my first orders, I had told her of my intentions of pressing the shadows - she replied enthusiastically and asked me to keep her updated. One shadow ended up getting ruined because of an ingredient; I informed her just to let her know without expecting anything back. She decided to mail me another free sample of that shade just so I still have one to play with (and also included ANOTHER free shade as a bonus). That was so amazing to me. She also makes an effort to remember each customer and includes a really nice note with each order. Many companies do this, but usually it's a simple "thank you" while Carrie always writes more and makes it personal.
She also comes out with new collections often and they really reflect whatever she's inspired by. I'm continually impressed by each collection and I feel like I get more and more impressed. The packaging is also really nice, it often comes inside ziplock bags wrapped in gorgeous tissue paper. I highly recommend this company for their superb products and amazing customer service.

I have ordered from them once, and I can only say pleasant things about my experience! I ordered a bunch of samples, and they were super generous! The full sizes are also enough to last you a lifetime since they're packed to the brim in the jar. I had a lot of questions to ask the owner before finalizing my order, and she was very accommodating with everything.

LOVE this company. Her eyeshadows are amazing and last so long. Pressing these eyeshadows are a breeze as well. Definitely my favourite indie company!

There aren't enough words in the English language to use for NM
Notoriously Morbid is simply perfect. I've ordered several times over the last few months. It's always very fast for processing/shipping, the prices are spot-on, and the product? A.Mazing.

Just meh
I had put off ordering from this company for a while but had only heard good things. I decided to try it a few weeks ago and put in an order for 8 samples. It was annoying to choose colors as many had no swatches. I chose from which colors did have swatches. TAT was 14 days and my order arrived just short of 3 weeks after the order date. Some of the colors looked as nice as they do online, but a few turned out to be matte when they didnt look matte online. The descriptions also didnt state finish. One of the lightest colors I had ordered came with 3 small chunks of unblended blue in it. Not sure how the blue chunks went unnoticed in such a pale beige color...
Overall I was unimpressed and will not be ordering again.
EDIT: May 17, 2014. Went to use a jar of "Pornographic Priestess" yesterday, but noticed it has some light pinkish unblended chunks in it as well.

Re: Notoriously Morbid
I've ordered twice from Notoriously Morbid, and both were fantastic experiences! I have never had an issue with an order, so I haven't had to contact Carrie for customer service purposes, but I have seen her interactions with others and I can say that she is incredibly caring of her customers, and loves to interact with them!
Both orders I made shipped within the stated TAT (under, if I remember correctly), reached me quickly, and were packaged with care. The overall theme of the shop is fun, and shows in the packaging and products without ever being excessive.
The shadows I have ordered have become some of my favorite. They're beautiful colors and apply very easily. The one blush I have is very pigmented but beautiful and lasts longer than most do on my skin!

Good experience
I've had a couple of good experiences with Notoriously Morbid!
One of my orders took a longer time than it should have to actually ship out - she printed the label, but it got overlooked and a week later it still hadn't actually gone out. She was very apologetic and tossed in a mini of a new product launching next month to make up for it.

Love Notoriously Morbid! Any time I've had to e-mail them Carrie was always incredibly nice. I had a package go missing and she replaced it without any issues! I always get my items usually on the higher end of the TAT but still within it. Their TAT is usually pretty high but pretty worth it.
The shadows and lipglosses are always great! Nice application and pigmentation!

I really like NM. Any time I've talked to Carrie she is always nice and helpful. I got a GWP mini of Tea Tosh and fell in love. I messaged her to see if it was possible any full sizes were hanging around and she had one for me! I've never had a problem with pigmentation and she has a really beautiful range of shadows.
Her Coffin Kissers are another one of my favorites, as is her Glass tint line. The glass tints give a little color without being overly drying.
The TAT is pretty long, but she is going to go to an inventory based site instead of make it as you get the orders(I believe), so that should help with the TAT.
She also has sales more frequently than other indie owners, which is nice because I'm able to get a few more things!

Re: Notoriously Morbid
NM is a cool indie company. I really like her mattes. I've only tried her eye shadows but they are great. I also love all the gwp shadows that I've gotten. TAT is very long though but to be fair, I've ordered during sales/Black Friday, which probably doesn't help with TAT. My only complaint is that occasionally, the lids of her mini-shadows will sometimes loosen during shipping. At one point, she was using square jars for her gifts with purchase and those got shadow everywhere but since the last Black Friday, I don't think she uses them anymore. I've never had spills with the minis but once in a while they are pretty loosely screwed. Just a heads up.
Otherwise, NM is great!

Re: Notoriously Morbid
Overall, I am satisfied with my Notoriously Morbid experience, but there were an unexplained delay in shipping.
When I placed my order, stated TAT was 10 to 14 business days. My order was marked as shipped (shipping label printed) on the Saturday after the 14th business day, but was not picked up by the post office until 4 days later. I did order on a day that NM released new additions to an existing eyeshadow line (Slay Me Wave 4) and a Freebie Friday, so that may have resulted in higher than normal orders which temporarily spiked her TAT. I'm going to try to give her the benefit of the doubt here.
The order was packed very securely and nothing leaked in transit. I ordered 6 full size shadows and 5 minis and one free sample of eyeshadow was included - marked Morbid Mistake, a shade called "Is Butter a Carb?" (a hint that NM is working on a Mean Girls-inspired line? I hope so!).
The color and ease of use of these eyeshadows are just great. The mattes, in particular, are very easy to work with. I am very happy with the products, They are just beautiful and, I found, true to the website swatches.
I would probably order from this company again if there were any new releases that particularly caught my attention.

Re: Notoriously Morbid
I have had a few good and a few bad experiences with Notoriously Morbid. In the past few orders I've made I've been missing items or some items have been faulty (lip balm tubes don't wind). In my recent order my Strawberry Lip Tint was faulty, so NM sent another one out to me with another order I had made. The replacement Lip Tint I recieved was completely different to the one I had first received - it was incredibly sheer and greasy. In addition to this, the fill levels of the mini's I had received were all different, and I was also missing a promotional extra (Buffy&Angel). While I enjoy NM's products I will not be reordering until her quality issues are sorted out.

Re: Notoriously Morbid
I ordered several eye shadows during the Black Friday 2015 sale on 11/30. The TAT in my confirmation e-mail: "Please keep in mind that our holiday season turn around time is 14 to 21 business days as stated prior to checkout." My order wasn't shipped until January 1st. There was absolutely no communication from them saying they couldn't keep up, or that my order wouldn't make it before Christmas. They changed one of my mini's to a full size, probably as a way to try to make up for it, but it was not a color that I will use a lot of so I would have appreciated some communication on that as well... Judging by the look of the other shadows, I think they might have given me full sizes on 1 or 2 other minis. (but not marked on the invoice) The shadows are all fine quality wise. I'm just salty about how long it took.
