I can't believe it took this long to get a thread going on AFK Cosmetics!

I first purchased from Dena during one of her flash sales. Before purchasing, I asked about TAT and the duration of the sale as I was moving soon. She responded within the hour with all of the details I needed.

I placed my order for 7 samples on August 5; it shipped on August 7, and I received it on August 12. All of the products I received are fantastic; they have great pigmentation even without primer and have very smooth application. Dena's accessibility, activity on social media, and fantastic products mean I will definitely purchase again!

I ordered during the Black Friday sale for the first time.

I ordered 11/28/14, received shipping notification on 12/16/14 and received my package 12/20/14. TAT was stated as 14-20 business days, so that was all good.

Everything was packaged so preciously it kind of hurt to open it all. I had ordered one of the Christmas themed sets and that was all wrapped separately with an adorable little bow. The Christmas shadows had Christmas stickers on the top, instead of label art, which was precious.

I have only tried a few of the eyeshadows, but I am really liking them. I also got two of the lip balms, but I'm unsure about them. The color payoff is definitely good, but I think they might be a little too slick for my liking.

Overall, definitely a good experience. I will be ordering again.

I have ordered from AFK cosmetics on numerous occasions.
I always received my product withing TAT no shipping issues.

I find Dena quick to respond and very helpful. I love all her products.
I do find some of the more glittery shadows work best over a sticky base, but that can be said for most Indies.
I love her balms find that the pigmentation it fantastic.

I also have gone through the process of making 2 custom balm with Dena.
They came out amazing and she was very good at interpretating what I was imagining into a balm with very little info from me.
I see myself ordering many more times in the future.

The shadows are really great! They blend and press well and the color is fairly accurate to the photo.

I've met her in person and she's wonderful. Things always arrive within the TAT and she's always keeping up to date on FB or Reddit which is nice.

She made me a mystery bag, which is now a permanent option in her shop. She has a really fast turn around time, is good with questions, and her eyeshadows and artwork are awesome. I would definitely buy from her again.

TAT: Order was placed on Thu, 2/5. Shipment information received on Mon, 2/9. Package received on Fri, 2/13.

Packaging: Everything was nicely packaged and labeled. It was very secure and beautiful to look at. Dena also included a business card, which I appreciate, because I like business cards.

Product: I ordered a sample collection of the "Inconceivable!" LE collection. I LOVE this. The eyeshadows were extremely pigmented and the labels fit perfectly on jars. AFK's new highlighter had a great formula with an option for buildable coverage, but I only used a light dusting to achieve a nice shimmer.

I've made 3-4 orders from AFK in the last several months. All of them have arrived well within the stated TAT, have been packaged beautifully, and included at least one sample. Dena's customer service is always great, and I appreciate how quick she is to respond to questions.

Awesome brand, great experience! I received my order quickly and in perfect condition: I'm just waiting to depot it all into containers have.

I did have a bit of a hiccup with one of the samples I ordered, but I was able to get in contact with the owner pretty quickly. She offered to mail me a new sample asap, but I declined to have it added to my next order.

Would gladly reorder again and again. Love her eyeshadows. Pigmented and silky smooth. Samples are generous, receive packages well within TAT, and packaging is tidy and cute. Quality of the eyeshadow formula is way up there. I also appreciate her transparency and her updates on r/imam.

When I ordered, the stated TAT was 10 to 14 business days.  After I ordered, Dena announced on facebook that she was having health issues and that might affect some of the pending orders.  On the 15th business day, I sent her an email checking in on my order (telling her that I understood that she was ill, and to take her time on my order, but just inquiring as to what kind of time frame we were talking on shipping) and she got back to me the next morning saying it would be another couple of days.  Imagine my surprise when I got a shipping confirmation that same day!!

The products arrived in fantastic condition and nicely wrapped. I got 3 full size eyeshadows and a full size balm and Dena included 2 samples for me to try. I thought that was very generous.

The lip balm is great - very pigmented and not drying at all. Feels great on! The eyeshadows are brightly colored and great when worn alone or with others. They blend very well. The label art is just too cute, as well, which makes me smile every time I use it.

I really appreciate how Dena is so good about updating the AFK facebook page so we know what is going on and where she is in packing orders.  Customer service here is top notch - I am very impressed. I am already planning another order soon and would recommend this company to anyone.

Customer service really IS top notch.

This is my first time using loose shadows so I asked Dena what type of primer to use. She replied within 24 hrs and apologized for being so slow, as well as being very communicative about what primer I should use for what type of shadow (mostly her shadows are fine with a tacky/sticky primer but the glitter ones shine best with Fyrinnae's Epoxy.)

I ordered on Nov 1, got my shipping notification on Nov 3, and realized that I had written the wrong city but the right zip code and the right address. I immediately messaged Dena and she was super understanding about it, and said that she could call USPS if I wanted. i said that online people say that it gets here fine as long as the zip code and adddress are right, so I just waited.

Cue delivery day, USPS tracking notification says CANNOT BE DELIVERED, will be sent back if enough information is given. I was like WHAT. SO I messaged Dena again and she literally called up USPS for me!! Amazing customer service. Really 10/10.
